This 3-bed family home was built on a tight budget. Originally conceived to be a rental property, the house sits on the same plot as the clients’ family home, but at right-angles to it to ensure space and privacy as well as a separate driveway.
The dwelling is a traditional build house; block/brick-built. The fairly small site size restricted deliveries and storage space of building materials, meaning the site had to be carefully managed.
The ground level of the new build had to be considered in terms of the drainage so a pump had to be installed to prevent future issues for both the new build and the existing house.
Considering the tight budget, the finish was particularly impressive.
