This exciting, bespoke new build dwelling began with clearance of the site to prepare the land for the foundations. The house was built adjacent to another property and so care had to be taken not to disturb the surroundings. 

The new house was built in the garden of the client’s existing property, which had a garden large enough to be divided to build the clients’ dream home.

One of the first phases was to create a basement, which was dug out and tanked. Issues soon arose because the plot was located on the edge of an old quarry, meaning the makeup of the ground was insecure so had to be piled. As the photos will clearly show, this was a very bespoke and high-end project in terms of all the sanitaryware, windows and general finish with solid wooden floating staircase and polished concrete floors.
