Redecorations and alterations to Wine Store, Stables and Groundsman’s Store
Construction
Internal works including raising the ceiling collars to provide more head room, installation of a new pressurised tank in the walk-in wardrobe and removing the existing cylinder and brickwork.
Various electrical works in the house: landing, bedroom and en-suite, first floor landing, bedroom and en-suite.
Various works to the stable block:
- Form 3 new window openings.
- Remove the wall between the open area and the groundsman’s store.
- Fit cupola to the main cinema room.
- Lay new flooring in the gymnasium.
- Install concrete hearth or marble slab for wood burning stove in cinema room.
Carry out works to the external pool area:
- Install shower, small kitchen area and brick wall with curved top.
- Install louvre doors, decorate and tile floors to completed specification.

The Smoking Room was stripped out to allow the following work to be undertaken:
- Purpose made windows and doors.
- Installation of purpose made bookcases with decorative cornice to match staircase previously installed.
- Installation of flueless gas fire plus Sandstone surround and hearth.

Creating a new staircase for access plus en suites to both bedrooms.
Construction
Due to a lack of head height a new staircase was needed to provide easier access to 1no. bedroom. We then created an en suite for each bedroom. The work also included:
- Removal and relocation of water tanks.
- Full decorations to bedrooms and bathrooms.
- Wall and floor tiling to bathrooms.
- Creation of a window seat in 1no. bedroom.
